New Delhi: For the month of December 2022, Rs 1,49,507crore has been collected as the gross GST revenue and has recorded an increase of 15 % Year-on-Year.
Out of the total GST revenue, CGST is Rs 26,711 crore, SGST is Rs 33,357 crore and IGST is Rs 78,434 crore.
The IGST is including Rs 40,263 crore collected on import of goods and Cess is Rs 11,005 crore (including Rs 850 crore collected on import of goods).
As per the State-wise growth of GST Revenues, Bihar saw the highest growth at 36 % which is an increase from Rs 963 crore to Rs 1,309.
Monthly GST revenues more than Rs 1.4 lakh crore for 10 straight months in a row, said Ministry of Finance.
The state of Maharashtra collected the highest revenue State-wise at Rs 23,598 crore which is a 20 % jump from Rs 19,592 crore.
During the month, revenues from import of goods was 8 % higher and the revenues from domestic transaction (including import of services) are 18 % higher than the revenues from these sources during the same month last year.
