New Delhi: Delhi BJP’s leader Harish Khurana demanded that CM Arvind Kejriwal should immediately sack from his Aam Aadmi Party the 2 MLAs Akhileshpati Tripathi and Rajesh Gupta whose involvement in MCD Election Ticket Sale stands established after arrest of one MLA’s brother in law etc. in a joint press conference on Thursday.
BJP leader Harish Khurana said its regrettable to see Deputy CM Manish Sisodia defending his MLAs despite strong evidence against them and shows the corrupt mentality of AAP. He said that allegations of Ticket Sale are not being levelled by opposition but by AAP workers themselves. Its strange that instead of taking action against the tainted MLAs the Deputy CM is giving them certificates of honesty. He said what else can we expect from a man who is himself a accused number one in Liquor Scam.
He said that be it conniving with hawala operators, doing labour fund scam, liquor scam or sale of Election tickets they all indicate towards corruption of AAP Government. He said former Councilor Hizbul Islam has openly protested and alleged election ticket sale in the party. Infact in past too in Punjab Elections allegation of Ticket Sale have been levelled against Sisodia.
BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor said few months ago we saw AAP MLAs including the Chief Minister shouting Khoka Khoka in the Delhi Assembly hall and alleging that BJP is trying to pouch our MLAs but could never present any proof of the same. Its irony of time that today AAP workers levelling charges of selling MCD elections tickets for 3 Khokas (crores) each. He said not only people of Delhi but in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh want to know from where this money is coming and going.
he also said that today we are watching allegations of MCD Ticket Sale in 3 crores on MLA Akhileshpati Tripathi which is nothing new as this MLA has bern involved in riots in 2015 and has faced allegations of bogus medical claims but Arvind Kejriwal Government has been shamelessly defending him. He said that its sad to see Kejriwal calling this entire scam a silver line. Its shocking to see Arvind Kejriwal Government defend a MLA’s brother in law who is arrested with lacs of rupees in cash. Kejriwal and Sisodia who pledged of honest politics should now immediately sack both MLAs Tripathi and Gupta from the party.
