Desire to become powerful as well as silent war between groups of senior party leaders making Congress weak in Haryana state day by day ss such  party high command unwillingly had to earlier replace former HPCC president Dr Ashok Tanwar with Kumari Shelja, followed by now replaced Shelja with Udai Bhan an active member of former Haryana chief minister  Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s group which made Hooda group more powerful bringing Shelja on back foot but this dirty political game took another turn  when Shelja once again have come to power with the appointment as member of All India Congress Committee by K.C. Venugopal  AICC General Secretary as per new direction in party politics recently.

People iu Haryana state are well aware of leg pulling witnessed between senior Congress political leaders in the state since past few years due to conflict going on between Hooda and Shelja groups as a result Congress failed to win 2019 Vidhan Sabha polls and lost power again in the state with few seats and BJP had alliance with newly born political party Janhit Janta Party able to win 10 seats to form government in Haryana state. Congress lost 2019 polls due to rift between leaders of Hooda and Shelja groups when members of rival groups spoke against each other in poll rallies which not only attracted headlines in the newspapers but also proved harmful for the party when HPCC president Dr Ashok Tanwar had to say good bye to Congress  but political war between senior Congress  leaders continued resulting replacement of HPCC presidents Shelja also with Udai Bhan at present.

Sources reveal, Congress state convener in Haryana Vivek Bansal during a discussion with media persons without naming said that few senior party leaders in Congress are making blames on him for defeat in recent Rajya Sabha polls to hide their own mistakes for which he has decided to submit a report to Congress high command to clarify that he was not responsible for Congress candidate Ajay Makan’s defeat in recent Rajya Sabha polls due to cross voting by Kuldeep Bishnoi and intentionally cancellation of a vote by another Congress MLA brought victory in favour of BJP supported independent contestant Kartikey Sharma whose name has not been exposed knowingly by a group of Congress leaders.
