Sri Fatehgarh Sahib : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was addressing the people at Sri Fatehgarh Sahib under ‘AAP’s Mission 13-0’ program, when heavy rainfall and storm hit the area. CM Bhagwant Mann and all the party workers present in the pandal got drenched in the rain. Bhagwant Mann stayed in the pandal with the workers to address the gathering.

Addressing the people, Bhagwant Mann said that he understands the pain of the farmers. This rain is not good for the ready-to-harvest wheat crops. This rain and storm, and even hailstorm in some areas, is damaging the crops. But don’t worry. I’m with you. As Chief Minister, whatever damage has been done to the ripe crops during the hailstorm today, I will compensate for the loss of every single grain of your crop.

Mann said that I’m always with the people in any kind of difficult time. Our Gurus and martyrs have inspired us to help each other and always stand with the poor and oppressed. No need to worry about little rain, no matter how dark the clouds are, the sun always shines. He said that he is not like other leaders (Congress and Akali Dal leaders) who run for their safety the first thing. For Mann the people and solving their problems are the priority.

Mann said that no one can control nature, but we can stand with each other in such times. No matter if it’s rain, wind or storm, Bhagwant Maan will stand with you. The party workers and gathered crowd was also very pleased that the AAP leader didn’t cancel even after heavy rainfall. They also applauded him for being there for the common people and always thinking about our farmers.
