New Deslhi : Dhirendra Ojha has been appointed as the Chief Spokesperson of the Central Government. He was made Principal DG of Press Information Bureau (PIB) under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Shefali Sharan has been send as the DG of the Government Publication Department.

On the other hand, Dhirendra Ojha was brought from the post of DG CBC (Central Bureau of Communication) to the post of Principal Director General of PIB. YK Baweja has been appointed as Director General of CBC. Note that before CBC, the name was DAVP (Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity).
