Elanabad Vidhan Sabha bi-polls in Haryana are having tough triangular contest between BJP, Congress and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) candidates on October 30, 2021. This Vidhan Sabha seat became vacant after the resignation of Abhey Singh Chautala of INLD in protest of three agriculture laws introduced by the Union Government to support agitating farmers. Past scenario of this Vidhan Sabha seat reveals that former Deputy Prime Minister Ch. Devi Lal’s family or their candidates have been winner on this seat most of the times. Abhey Chautala well known face in this constituency is going to contest again from this Vidhan Sabha seat under the guidance of five times former Chief Minister Haryana Om Parkash Chautala in coming polls also likely to have support of farmers in the constituency.

INLD candidate Abhey Chautala is going to face tough fight with BJP candidate Gobind Kanda younger brother of former Haryana Home Minister Gopal Kanda having support of large number of senior BJP leaders as well as Janhit Janta Party (JJP) having alliance with ruling government in Haryana state. Pawan Beniwal, a former BJP leader joined Congress sometime ago is going to contest on this Vidhan Sabha seat on behalf of Congress said to be facing rift between senior party leaders since former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his son Deepender Hooda MP wanted Bharat Singh Beniwal to contest on this seat on behalf of Congress, but party president Kumari Shelja succeeded in getting ticket in favour of her candidate Pawan Beniwal brought by her from BJP to join Congress. Rightly said, Congress contestants are usually defeated in polls by Congress leaders itself due to in-fight between senior party leaders.

Information reveals, nearly 20 senior BJP leaders have joined hands to start massive poll campaign in support of their candidate Gobind Kanda which include the names of state president  Dhankhad,  State Convener  Vinod Kavde, Home Minister Anil Vij, former Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma, Union State Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar Union State Minister Rao Inderjit Singh,  former Minister Capt Abhimanyu, former Union Minister Ratan Lal Kataria,  former State President Subhash Barala,  State Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma,  Women & Child Development Minister Kamlesh Dhanda,  Cooperative Minister Banwari Lal, Nayab Saini MP Kurukshetra, J.P Dalal State Agriculture Minister,  Sirsa MP  Sunita Duggal,  Sports Minister Sandeep Singh,  Krishan Pal Panwar, Maneesh Grover and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter himself started canvassing for the victory of their candidate..

Whereas, in case of Congress, team of party leaders comprising of Vivek Bansal, State President Kumari Shelja, former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Deepender Hoods, Kuldeep Bishnoi,  Kiran Choudhary,  Capt Ajay Singh Yadav, Chakarvorthy Sharma, , Jaiveer Singh Valmiki,  Ashok Arora,  Bajrang Das garg, Charanjit Singh Rodi. Dr Sudhil Indora, Sheesh Pal Keharwal are involved in canvassing of Congress contestant.
