Factory manufacturing fake liquor in Farm House near Ambala

AMBALA (Satish  Handa) : After the incident of busting a gang manufacturing fake liquor in a rented residential house in Saha police station area at Saha near Ambala in March this year involved in smuggling illicit liquor to several states, excise department team led by Deputy Excise & Taxation Commissioner Ambala Alok Passi accompanied by Bhagat Singh APO and Ram Kumar DSP conducted raid on Sunday, May 23, 2021 night continued till midnight and exposed a factory manufacturing fake country made liquor and arrested three persons while preparing illicit liquor in a farm house amidst agriculture field on Ambala-Jagadhari highway.

Alok Passi told media persons that information was received that machines are working in the farm house during night as such a raid was planned when 117 cases Desi liquor, six drums of 200 litre capacity filled with liquor, heavy stocks of empty bottles, large number of empty drums, chemicals used for preparing liquor, bottle corks, labels and machiney to fill and seal bottles were seized by the team from illicit factory. Arrested persons disclosed that illicit liquor was being supplied all over in the state as well as smuggled to adjoining states. A case was registered with Saha police station.
