Ambala: State Health Deopartment team from Panchkula and Ambala accompanied by the police during raid exposed a drugs manufacturing unit working in a posh residential area Defence Colony Ambala Cantt. The owner of the manufacturing unit Avneet Bhatia also a former Mr India was nabbed by the police near the factory while attempting to flee from the site in his car carrying huge stocks of fake medicines (supplements) in tablet and injection forms in prominent Pfizer brand in his car. The raiding team seized stocks of the fake medicines, packing material, raw material and huge stocks of fake medicines.

According to the health department officers including Hemant Grover,  Sunil Dahiya Parjinder Singh the raid conducted at around 4 pm on Saturday continued till late night. They said that there was no manufacturing batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date and price written on the stocks seized by the department. A case was registered by Panjokhra police station Ambala.
