Behind these fresh faces, however, stand political heavyweights—veteran leaders who are actively directing their children’s campaigns, strategizing, and ensuring that the family’s political legacy is carried forward. In many cases, these new entrants are mere figureheads, while their experienced parents are handling the ground-level operations, from rallies to voter outreach. The upcoming election will determine which among these political heirs manage to establish themselves, and who might fade from the scene.

Naina Chautala’s Drive for Dushyant Chautala

Former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala is contesting once again from the Uchana Kalan seat. With the added responsibility of managing his party’s campaigns across the state, much of his personal election effort has fallen to his mother, Naina Chautala. A seasoned campaigner herself, Naina is diligently traveling through villages, particularly focusing on connecting with women voters. She has taken complete charge of Dushyant’s campaign, with occasional help from his father, Dr. Ajay Singh Chautala.

Randeep Surjewala’s Full-Scale Effort for Aditya

Aditya Surjewala, running for office from Kaithal on a Congress ticket, is another new face in this election. However, the driving force behind his campaign is none other than his father, Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Singh Surjewala. From devising election strategies to rallying votes in every village and city street, Randeep has taken complete control of the campaign. His commitment is so intense that he reportedly manages just three hours of sleep each day.

Birendra Singh’s Determination for Brijendra Singh

Chaudhary Birendra Singh, a former Union Minister, may have announced his retirement from active politics, but his dedication to securing a political future for his son remains undeterred. Brijendra Singh, contesting from Uchana on a Congress ticket, is the beneficiary of both his father’s and mother’s full support. Birendra and his wife, Prem Lata, are engaged in a tireless campaign to drum up support, attending village meetings, addressing concerns of disgruntled voters, and canvassing in every corner of the constituency.

Kiran Choudhary and Ranbir Mahendra in a Legacy Battle

In Tosham, a fierce battle over the legacy of Chaudhary Bansi Lal is playing out. BJP’s Kiran Choudhary is campaigning hard for her daughter, Shruti Choudhary, while Ranbir Mahendra is leading the charge for his son, Anirudh Choudhary, who is the Congress candidate. Ajay Yadav and Rao Inderjit’s Push for Their Children

Ajay Yadav is overseeing the campaign for his son, Chiranjeev Rao, the Congress candidate for Rewari. Both father and daughter are running separate campaigns, with Nirmal unable to assist Chitra due to their differing political paths.
