In a show of solidarity, farmer unions have rallied behind the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable who reportedly slapped newly elected Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut at the airport. This collective support comes in response to Ranaut’s derogatory remarks about women participating in farmer protests, sparking outrage among farmer groups.

Leaders of various farmer unions, including Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and Punjab Kisan Union, condemned Ranaut’s comments and expressed support for the constable’s actions. Saran Singh Pandher of Kisan Mazdoor Morcha emphasized the need to understand the constable’s reaction, citing the gravity of insulting remarks towards one’s mother.
