Mumbai : Federal Bank here recently launched its RuPay Smart keychain “Flash Pay” for contactless payments.

While the NCMC-enabled RuPay Smart keychain  – a first of its kind in the industry – can be used during transit at NCMC-enabled metro stations without having to queue in line for tickets, consumers can do contactless payment transactions (without PIN)  up to Rs 5,000, and with PIN for upto per day limit of Rs 1,00,000 at any POS terminal

Shalini Warrier, Executive Director at Federal Bank, while emphasizing the Bank’s commitment to innovation and security, said that the Flash Pay users were assured of convenience with a fortified sense protection in their every digital transaction including at millions of merchants across India.

Flash Pay is also compatible with a wide range of devices and payment terminals, providing users with flexibility and convenience in their payment options, she said.
