Chandigarh: Former Home and Health Minister of Haryana, Anil Vij said that the BJP will emerge victorious in all 10 loksabha seats in Haryana, and whoever opposes them will be defeated. He said that a Modi wave is sweeping across the country, and whoever stands against this wave will be defeated. He was answering the questions asked by the media persons in Hisar on Sunday. Regarding the Lok Sabha elections, Vij said that not only in Haryana but across the country, a Modi wave is prevailing. Just as everything gets scattered in front of a tsunami, similarly whoever stands against the Modi wave will be defeated.
Asked about the Congress joining Hisar MP Brijendra Singh, Vij sarcastically said that there are some migratory birds that keep moving from tree to tree with the weather; this is a very old rule. As regarding questions about Rajkumar Saini’s support for the Congress, he said, don’t look at the INFI, see who falls on June 4.
Asked about Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal going to jail, Vij said, “It should be a matter of morality that when you (Kejriwal) get arrested, you should resign. Even before, the chief ministers who have been arrested have resigned from their posts. But Kejriwal is made of different material. He used to talk a lot before entering politics, but today he is doing the opposite.” Mocking Kejriwal, Vij said, first there was our Vidyut policy, then Chanakya policy came and now Kejri policy has come, which means that senior people of the party should work like and go to jail, and run the government from inside the jail. This is their thinking, and they have made such a policy, he added.
Former Haryana Home and Health Minister said, ” For the first time in the country, agencies are working fearlessly. Earlier, not only could the chief minister not reach, but also the people around the chief minister. But now even the chief ministers are being checked, which indicates a healthy democratic environment.” Asked about Bhupinder Singh Hooda going to jail, he said, ‘‘haan bilkul, jaenge sab baaree-baaree, sabakee hai taiyaaree’’.
Asked about the removal of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal, Vij said, “Former Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal did a good job, and it is the discretion of the high command whom to work with and who can work.” When asked about people’s disappointment with him not being on the ministerial position, Vij said, “No one should feel disappointed because I am not disappointed. I am a devoted worker of the party, and it is not necessary to be a minister to work. Even as a legislator, I can work, and as a legislator, I will work even more than before.”
