Four pages anonymous letter found against the SP allegedly involved in sexual harassment case in Haryana yet unsolved

The SIT was formed after a four-page letter went viral on social media on October 25 levelling sexual harassment allegations against then Jind SP. An all-women, three-member special investigation team (SIT) has reportedly begun its probe into the sexual harassment allegations against an IPS officer in Haryana. The SIT is headed by ADGP Mamta Singh and also includes Fatehabad SP Aastha Modi and DIG-level woman IPS officer Sangeeta Kalia.

Former Jind SP troubles are increasing after the sexual harassment charges, by 4 pages anonymous letter of sexual harassment charges leveled against him given not only sleepless nights to him but also to Jind Police Administration. Questions are being raised against police administration in the entire Haryana. On the direction of Haryana CM Nayab Saini and police chief in the state, Aastha Modi SP was deployed to investigate this case and conducted an investigation personally recording the statement of more than 100 female police personnel employed in the district. Not only this, Women’s Commission has also taken serious cognizance of this matter and Jind Superintendent of Police as well as complainants were called to participate in the interrogatio in this regard with the concerned SP as well as the complainants.

Panic has started spreading in the entire Jind administration in which few police personnel allegedly involved in this conspiracy including alleged accused SP were also transferred. Farmer organization leader Raghubir Singh said that when the protectors of the public become predators, then how will the common people remain safe. The allegations against former Jind SP are serious allegations. He appealed that the investigation of this case should be increased and a thorough investigation should be conducted by the senior officials for a fair action in this case. “When the protector of the public becomes the predator, then how will the general public be safe,” he raised a question demanding the truth can come out and the exploited women can get justice.
