Gang of 3 including 2 women in sale-purchase of new born children busted by CM Flying Squad

CM Flying Squad Haryana on a information recently busted a gang of three including two women at Faridabad running a network of agents in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and other neighboring states for purchase of new born children delivered by pregnant women from extremely poor families and selling them earning handsome profit in deals. Among those arrested by CM Flying Squad team during raid at a hotel in Badarpur were identified a male Deepak a resident of Mahindra Park Delhi, his two female companions Meenu a resident of Uttam Nagar Delhi and Anita resident of Sultanpuri Delhi both also involved in carrying passengers on E-Riksha. All three members of the gang as well as their agents usually used to visit government hospitals in search of pregnant women from financially weaker families likely to have delivery in a hope to have a deal for the new arrival.

CM Flying Squad led by Rajesh Chechi DSP succeeded in preparing a fake couple willing to purchase a newly born child through racket of three. The fake couple comprising of Satbir a police sub inspector and Rajesh Kumari ASI contacted three expressing desire to own a newly born child and were offered a nine days old child when they gathered in a hotel at Badarpur to finalized deal when three demanded Rs 6 lakh and the deal was finalized at Rs 4 lakh after negotiations. At the time of getting advance payments against deal CM Flying Squad team prepared a video as well as recorded entire deal and on a signal conducted raid and arrested three in a case under human trafficking act.

Ramesh Chechi DSP told media persons that CM Flying Squad on a clue had arrested organizer of a NGO last month allegedly finalized a deal for the sale of 15 days old child at Ballabhgarh at Rs 1.5 lakh and another deal was finalized by them in sale of a nine days old baby born in a hospital at Delhi  sold to a couple in Punjab few months ago and the three earned handsome amount in this deal. Chechi told that during preliminary investigation the three arrested accuse admitted having a chain of agents in different places usually in touch with pregnant women belonging to financially weaker families usually visiting government as well as charitable hospitals and convince them to sell their expected child. They told that their agents also visit private hospitals to remain in search of female clients usually fail to conceive and willing to own a newly born child and do not hesitate to spend any amount.

According to Alok Kumar Mittal CID Chief in Haryana state while talking to media persons at Chandigarh told that CM Flying Squad in the state during 344 raids in past three months has registered 265 cases and arrested 126 persons. Among few important cases exposed in Haryana state by the Flying Squad included several manufacturing units functioning in the state illegally. CM Flying Squad also busted a racket at Gurugram preparing fake Aadhar Cards. The team detected few call centers allegedly cheating people on line. The team in a complaint also raided Municipal Corporation office at Panipat a couple of months ago and found large number of public cases lying pending in the office since a long time without action which included 727 cases related to property ID and 62 cases related to birth and death certificates lying pending since a long time without reason.

CM Flying Squad during raids took action against 34 dealers involved in GST theft, 58 dealers were found involved in adulteration during CM Flying Squad raids, The Squad detected 59 illegally functioning ‘Ahata’ serving liquor in different raids in Haryana state in past couple of months. CM Flying Squad impounded 22 overloaded vehicles and recovered amount worth Rs 71.11 lakh towards fine. Squad took action against 33 liquor smugglers in the state and collected fine worth lakhs of rupees from them. The squad also conducted raids against power theft collecting fine worth Rs 17.78 lakh, took action against 14 gangs involved in illegal mining in the state besides a long list of different raids to wipe out criminal activities from the state on the direction by Chief Minister.
