28 years old gangster Goldi Brar having over two dozen cases of murder, attempt to murder, threatening for ransom demand and mastermind in alleged murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala has been arrested at California in USA since Red Corner notice was raised against him by the government and the concerned authorities in USA informed Indian agencies about his arrest. Ministry of Home, Government of India is trying to bring him in the country to investigate large number of cases registered against the hard core criminal. Goldi Brar is wanted by police in more than 17 criminal cases registered against him in different police stations in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi states.
Goldi Brar was also wanted in two cases registered against him at Ambala including double murder of youths Mohit Rana and Vishal while travelling in a car showering bullets on them opposite a school on Jagadhari Road Ambala Cantt few months ago and in another case allegedly demanded Rs 1 crore ransom amount from a property dealer threatening to kill him. Faridabad police will also bring Goldi Brar on production warrant in a case registered against him at Sarai Khawaja police station allegedly demanding Rs 1 crore ransom amount from a businessman. Recently, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi group identifying himself as a sharp shooter of Lawren Bishnoi gang sent a Watts up message from France twice in a day demanding Rs 50 lakh ransom amount from a contractor Rajiv Dahiya a resident of village Adiana in Panipat district threatening to kill him as well as his wife working as a teacher in a reputed school in case ransom amount will not be paid him.
Goldi Brar son of Shamsher Singh resident of Mukatsar in Punjab working as ASI in Punjab police was forcibly retired from the service when Goldi Brar also went to Canada on study Visa in 2016 and entered into criminal world in October 2020 when his cousin brother a student leader Gurlal Brar was shot dead in a student gang war and to take revenge Goldi Brar shot dead a youth congress president and after this incident he never looked back and was involved in large number of criminal cases one after the other along with other gangster groups including murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala along with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Information reveals that Goldi Brar was arrested on the information of gangster Lakhbir Singh Landa operating his criminal network from Canada.
Meanwhile, Anti Gangster Task Force on Friday arrested a member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang identified as Bunty a permanent resident of Bhiwani district at village Dhakoli near Panchkula on Old Ambala Simla road and recovered from him 20 pistols including 15 country made weapons and 40 cartridges.
