Haryana CM flying squad arrested 10 persons in raid at fake liquor manufacturing unit

Chief Minister Flying Squad in a raid on Saturday-Sunday night busted a gang manufacturing fake liquor in a premises behind two industrial units one of them manufacturing Sanitizer and another unit making crockery on Jatwad-Mouli road near village Sarakpur about 20 km from Ambala and arrested 10 persons including prime accuse Krishan resident of village Sarakpur involved in this illegal business when lock down was declared. This is the third case in the area in which police seized huge quantity of fake manufactured liquor in past two weeks. Earlier, Panjokhra police station Ambala had recovered illicit liquor and fake rum being prepared and kept in two godowns at village Mandaur adjoining Ambala City being smuggled to Gujarat and Bihar states through transport as Alovera juice consignment, followed by another raid after few days at a marriage palace on Ambala-Naraingarh road.   Police arrested several persons in both cases including kingpin a leading wine contractor of Ambala City running illegal supply of liquor presently in police custody at Ambala central jail.

Dinesh Kumar Sub Inspector CM Flying Squad told media persons that police recovered 33 cases fake liquor having ‘Malta’ brand labels on the bottles, nearly 1000 litre fake prepared liquor kept in a tank, 340 litre spirit,  over 10000 empty plastic bottles, variety of corks, several bags fake labels of different brands liquor, huge stock of cartons, filling, sealing and labelling machines, Rs 86000 currency notes and five vehicles including two Swift Designer, one Inova and Maruti 800 cars for supplying liquor in rural areas in Karnal, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Panchkula, Hisar districts in the state and all over in adjoining U.P state.  Police told that one Swift Designer car was registered in the name of Brij Mohan a resident of Panipat, another Swift Designer car registered in the name of Gautam resident of Barara and Maruti 800 was registered in the name of Ravi Kumar a resident of Jagadhari. Police has started investigations in this regard.

Among those arrested by the police against whom case was registered at Raipur Rani police station included prime accuse Krishan resident of Sarapur, Ranbir resident of Hisar, Jaiveer, Ram Lakhan, Prem Singh all residents of Bareilly in U.P, Rajesh Kumar resident of Shahzadpur (Ambala), Bhim Singh resident of Naraingarh (Ambala), Sugun resident of Buhawa (Kurukshetra), Suresh Kumar and Gautam both residents of Saha (Ambala) .During preliminary investigation Krishan and Ranbir told police that basic raw material to prepare fake liquor was being supplied by Jony a resident of Sector 25 Panipat whereas Pushpinder Singh resident of Bataur used to supply them spirit to manufacture liquor and police has started search for them.

All arrested were produced in the court, of them three Krishan, Sugun and Gautam were remanded to police custody for two days and remaining seven persons were sent to jail under judicial remand. Krishan told police that he got the idea to start manufacturing when lock down was declared and all liquor vends were closed down and they started supply of liquor bottles on door delivery basis on motorcycles selling ‘Desi’ liquor bottle at the price Rs 100 each and English wine bottle at the price between Rs 350 to Rs 400 each bottle and purchase a luxury car within a month..
