Haryana government announces 1000 days relief for new industry

Talking to media persons Deputy Prime Minister Dushyant Chautala assured relief in implementation of industrial rules for 1000 days to entrepreneurs willing to set up industry in Haryana state for which single window system has been introduced to complete all formalities under a roof. Chautala said, a road map in this regard has already been prepared to enhance financial activities. He told that large number of multinational companies across the world are willing to make industrial investment in Haryana state and state government is likely to finalize contract in this regard with nearly 60 firms, most of them are willing to shift their units from China, has decided to invest in Haryana state. Chautala said, its first time in the history of Haryana that government is providing land for setting up industry in the state on lease hold basis. He said, Haryana state government has set up a committee comprising of an senior officer of IAS rank as Nodal Officer to assist foreign investors willing to set up industry in the state.

In view of COVID-19, trade and industry in the state has been adversely affected giving drastic rise in unemployment and a survey revealed that every tenth person in state working in private sectors has become unemployed at present due to worldwide economic recession adversely affected our country too when most of the employers has said good-bye to their employees due to recession. This correspondent in a recent survey observed that most of the youths are seen willing to set up their own business while having a look at government announcements for self-employment schemes usually published in newspapers, which according to majority of them are merely an eye wash.

Most of the youths having engineering and business management background told that after spending lot of time when impressed by the government announcements that all facilities are available by the government to start own business under a roof they were not entertained by the concerned departments due to lengthy procedures for getting approvals from the government, licenses to manufacture goods from the government departments, getting bank loans and after wasting lot of time s for several days, left all hopes to start their own business and dropped the idea to set up industry due to large scale corruption in government offices and were of opinion that it is possible to start industry only for those belonging to families already in business.

Chautala said, Ministry of  Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) in the country has been requested to set up industry clusters in every district in Haryana state to develop new industry and extend special assistance to those willing to invest in the state, especially agriculture based industry. He said, as a result of COVID-19 spread across the world large number of Indians settled abroad have returned and now willing to invest in these clusters in the state and Haryana government is trying to attract them with attractive offers.
