Haryana Government will take strict action against schools running without recognition

Ambala: The education department has prepared to take strict action against hundreds of schools running without recognition in Haryana. The list of large numbers of such schools mushrooming without having recognition from the government in Ambala district, too, is being prepared by the education department to take necessary action against such schools has been prepared by the education department. According to information, there are some educational schools recognized up to primary or middle classes but are teaching students of classes X and XII and manage to get them examined in Board examination through illegal ways. According to an officer of the education department, once the list of such illegal schools is ready, the names of all the schools running without recognition will be published in the newspapers.

In formation reveals that 282 schools have been found so far which are running without obtaining recognition from the government in Ambala. Director Secondary has issued a letter to all DEOs regarding the orders of the High Court. It has been asked to take action against such private schools illegally running without recognition within three days.  A PIL was filed in the High Court regarding private schools running without recognition in the state, in which the petitioner requested to initiate action against schools running illegally in violation of the provisions of Haryana School Education Rules and to ban the expansion of illegal, unrecognized, unauthorized schools. On this, the High Court, while providing the last opportunity under the order, directed to submit an affidavit before 26 February 2024 regarding what action has been taken against these schools
