Haryana Police action against farmers to get cancelled their Passport and Visa

Ambala: Farmers protest ‘Delhi Chalo’ at Shambhu border on the highway  near Ambala City has entered the 17th day with between 3500 to 4000 protersing farmers are still having ‘dharna’ throwing stones on police force having parked their Tractor trolleys on the road across eight layer barrier installed by Haryana police. According to information, police have already arrested nearly 50 protesting farmers involved in violent activities and many of them were also injured in police action and now Haryana police taking action against large numbers of the farmers involved in activities and daamageing private and government properties to get their passport and visa which were identified through CCTV cameras.

DSP, Ambala, Joginder Sharma while talking to media persons said the police have identified to find out names of those protesting farmers involved in violence iwhile coming to Haryana from Punjab with the help of  CCTV, drone cameras and videography. We will request the ministry of home affairs and the embassy to cancel their visas and passports. He said, police have already initiated the process to cancel passports and visas of those individuals termed as ‘rowdies’ who were involved in breaking barricades or causing disturbances at the Punjab border during the recent farmer agitation. DSP said that police have also taken numerous photographs in which they are seen vandalizing properties and causing disturbances through different means.

Information reveals that Shambhu borders has been a prominent place during present farmers’ protest where there was a huge flow of protestors from Punjab which was controlled by Haryana police this time and large number of farmers sitting on ‘dharnas’ have left for their home finding no support from their leaders this time. Information also reveals that  protesting farmers at the border have already prepared steel structures to take rest and for night shelter where delicious meals and snacks are available to the visitors round the clock.

Meanwhile Rakesh Tikait National BKU convener in a meeting at Radaur blamed the government involved in a conspiracy to continue farmers’ protest and ruin them and said that in case the government wants to finish this process it should accept farmers demands. He blamed that a handful of people do not want to finish this farmers protest and tarnish Punjab government’s image for their self-vested interest. In reply to a question, if farmers associations would contest in coming Vidhan Sabha polls, Tikait said that the farmers are not willing to involve themselves in politics and their main interest is in agriculture production. He said that all farmer associations are united, desiring that the  government should sort out their demands favorably at an early date.
