Haryana textile & handloom industry gets 25% excess export orders this year

Prominent countries all over in the world including United Sates, U.K and France after getting some relief from COVID-19 has started placing orders on exporters of textile and handloom products at Panipat in Haryana state have already received 25% excess export orders of value worth Rs 15000 crore in-spite of the fact country is facing severe epidemic outbreak this year as compared to previous years exporters usually getting annual orders of value about 12000 crore. Information reveals, most of the countries after having relief from Corona virus are now having good demand for textile and handlooms products and placing handsome orders on Indian exporters. Information also reveals, most of the countries accuse China responsible for spread of Corona virus all over in the world and has decided not to have business dealings with them as such switched over all textile and handloom products orders on Indian exporters this year.

Information reveals, looking at the present situation our country facing due to epidemic outbreak, foreign buyers has agreed to increase delivery period of ordered goods for a period of three to four weeks and also agreed to receive material in part consignments considering the situation our country facing at present. Most of the foreign buyers has requested our exporters to despatch material ordered for winter season and on the eve of ‘Chrismas’ festival timely to enable them to liquidate their stocks at the right occasion, failing which goods will remained dumped in their godown for a year assuring that orders placed by them will not be cancelled.

Panipat exporters told that most of the orders placed by foreign buyers for winter season including bath room mates, carpets, rugs, blankets and cushion covers in dark shades will be despatched by the end of month May or before second week of June this year, which take four to five weeks the consignment reaches Indian port and the containers usually take four weeks for delivery of consignment at the port in Europe and about six weeks for delivery at the port in South America.

The Handatold that they are getting export orders for the products required for winter season and delivery schedule in case of export orders is very essential otherwise the material despatched to the consignee remains unsold for a year as well as following years due to obsolete design and texture as such foreign buyers has agreed to accept part shipment this year as a special case. The exporters further told that foreign buyers place orders for goods required for sale at the eve of Chrismas function positively despatched during the month July every year preferably in red, green and white colours very much in demand during this festival.
