Haryana textile industry association to invest Rs 2000 crore in U.P

Impressed by the Uttar Pradesh government policies for industry, improved  law and order and reduction in crimes in the state, a delegation of 21 members of textile industry in Haryana led by the president of textile association Bhupinder Singh met U.P chief minister Yogi Adityanath and expressed desire to make industrial investment or shift their existing textile units in Uttar Pradesh. The members of the delegation including S.P Agnihotri of KKK Textile Pvt Ltd and Pankaj Gupta of RMP Textiles Pvt Ltd were warmly welcomed by the chief minister Yogi along with other entrepreneurs who said that inspite of making huge investment they are not getting co-operation in government officers and have to run from one seat to other even for petty jobs as well as have to face lot of harassment even for  getting a license to start a new industry.

However, U.P chief minister Yogi assured Haryana textile entrepreneurs full co-operation in case they make investment in the state, offered therm attractive facilities, providr land at much subsidised rates and assured regular supply of electricity in case they set up industry in Uttar Pradesh. Bhupinder Singh  president of the association said that in the first phase textile entrepreneurs from Haryana agreed to set up 50 manufacturing units in U.P likely to provide  employment opportunities to about 25000 youths in U.P directly or indirectly, apart from  annual export of value worth Rs 5000 crores. Yogi said that Chief Secretary U.P state will look forward to providing all assistance to all entrepreneurs personally. Impressed by the meeting with the U.P chief minister Yogi large number of Haryana textile goods manufacturers took decision to set up new units or shift their existing units in U.P for better infrastructure, since Yogi government  has constituted 25 Sectoral Policy for ease of doing business in the state under ‘Nivesh Sarthi’ and ‘Nivesh Mitra’ schemes.
