Haryana to hold Industry Fairs in every district

Manohar government in Haryana is taking another historic step for the development of industrial sector in the State. Chief Secretary Haryana Sanjeev Kaushal addressing a meeting with the officers of industry department in the state said that in order to promote industries and to facilitate the entrepreneurs in setting up of Industries in the State Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter has desired to take another historic step in the    state similar to Geeta Mahotsav at Kurukshetra and Surajkund Handicrafts Fair being organized every year having worldwide identification as well as fame now going to hold similar type of industry fairs in every district in the state. Kaushal said, decision has been taken to start first fair in the state at Gurugram, followed by second fair at industrial town Faridabad aiming to recognize these fairs similar to national and international Trade Fairs being held at Pragti Maidan New Delhi every year.

Sanjeev Kaushal while addressing Haryana’s 32nd governing body meeting called to review preparations as regard coming International Trade Fair to be held on Novermber 14 at Pragti Maidan said, Haryana state government is making all efforts to promote industry as well as export in the state providing all facilities to entrepreneurs in the state, country and foreign investors willing to start industry in Haryana as such potential entrepreneurs are advised regarding availability of land at subsidized rates in Haryana state, procedure for allotment of land, conversion of land use, incentives and concessions available to the industry, pollution control and other clearances required and all facilities, advise as regard infrastructure development and coordination with various related government departments such as licensing, commercial taxes, labour, town & country planning, pollution control board and various clearances and enforcement of the regulatory requirements available under a roof.

Approval was also given for the budget for amount worth Rs 2.79 crore for year 2022-23 in this meeting. Kaushal said that during coming International Trade Fair 2022 to be held at Pragti Maidan New Delhi which shall continue with effect from November 14 till November 27, 2022, Haryana’s theme in would be ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Local to Global’ and efforts are being made that in this fair Haryana’s Pavilion should be a centre of attraction for visitors in this fair.  He said, ‘Haryana Day’ will be celebrated in the fair on November 20. Sanjeev Kaushal directed all present in the meeting to try their best to make Haryana Pavilion in this fair remarkable and a centre of attraction enabling Haryana state able to get handsome export orders. He disclosed that Haryana state is also going to participate in coming Trade Fairs in January 2023 as well as ‘Aahar International Fair-2023’ to be held from March 14 to 18, 2023.
