Haryana’s 10 senior Congress leaders left party in past 10 years, joined BJP

Congress in Haryana means Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Congress high command has full confidence in him, which clearly indicates that in recent Lok Sabha polls in Haryana all contestants except Kumari Shelja were from Hooda’s choice and Congress was able to win polls on five seats, whereas in 2019 Lok Sabha polls Congress had lost all 10 Lok Seats in Haryana . Information reveals that Congress high command has given him free hand for the selection of contestants for the coming Vidhan Sabha polls to be held this year. Information reveals that Hooda and state president Udai Bhan alongwith party poll convener has started holding district-wise meetings with the party’s office-bearers in every district across the state to have search for winning candidates in each Vidhan Sabha constituency for the coming Vidhan Sabha polls.

Past 10 years scenario reveals that as many as 10 senior Congress leaders said goodbye to the party in this period and joined BJP, most of them blaming that were compelled to leave the party due to Bhupinder Singh Hooda, which include the names of prominent political leader Rao Inderjit Singh left Congress and joined BJP, followed by MP from Bhiwani Dharamveer, MP from Sonipat Ramesh Kaushik, former MP from Karnal  Arvind Sharma and all three joined Bhartiya Janta Party.

Among others left Congress were Ashok Tanwar failed to compete Bhupinder Singh Hooda in-spite of being party president in the state, who resigned from Congress to join BJP. Similarly, a heavy weight Congress leader in the state Ch. Birender Singh joined BJP some time ago and resigned from the party to join Congress again. Among others joined  BJP in recent past sometime include former CM late Bhajan Lal’s son Kuldeep Bishnoi, former Union Minister Vinod Sharma who played important role in 2005 when Bhupinder Singh Hooda was chief minister in Haryana and another prominent political leader from South Haryana Avtar Singh Bhadana all are presently a part and parcel of BJP.

The future of SRK (Shelja, Randeep Surjewal and Kiran Choudhry) group in Congress suffered a severe setback after Kiran Choudhry resigned from Congress and joined BJP in the recent past. Information reveals, there is likely of Ch, Birender Singh to join this group then to be known as SRB group, after he has re-joined Congress in order to face Hooda group in Haryana Congress.
