Health  survey reveals 33 persons die every day due to heart attack in Haryana

A health survey report reveals that on an average 33 persons are reported die due to heart attack in Haryana daily. Haryana health minister Anil Vij submitted a report in this regard in recent Vidhan Sabha monsoon session in reply to a question by the Congress MLA  Jaiveer Singh asked how many people died of heart attack in Haryana during current year and what is the reason .Vij said that from January 1 to July 31, a total number of 7026 patients, on an average 33 persons daily suffering from heart problems attack or heart failure succumbed to this disease in the state.
According to Medical Certification of Cause of Death report acute rheumatic fever and chronic rheumatic heart disease, hypertensive heart disease, ischemic heart disease, disease of pulmonary circulation and other forms of heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, other diseases of the circulatory system are generally cause of of the deaths. Heart specialists say that the heart works continuously for round the clock 24 hours and 7 days and when the pressure and stress on the heart increases excessive an attack occurs, but before this the heart generally gives signs of its fatigue to which people ignore to pay attention. In case someone havs high blood pressure, quick temper and shortness of breath, it can be a symptom of heart failure.

Health Minister Anil Vij in reply to a question in Vidhan Sabha session that there is acute shortage of doctors in government hospitals said that 3073 Medical Officers are working in Haryana state health department at present as against requirement of 3903 doctors. He said, apart from this 167 doctors have been taken from National Health Mission. Vij said that the appointment of doctors started from January 2022 and after necessary formalities in August 2022 appointment letters were issued to 941 applicants, of them 808 doctors joined duties and this was fthe irst time in the state such a large number of vacancies for doctors were filled up. Vij said that recently appointment letters have been sent to another 25 doctors yet to join duties.
