Ambala: Member of Parliament Deepender Hooda has stated that Congress victories in Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka were just the beginning and Haryana would be swept by the winds of change.Deeepnder said the echo of Congress’ resounding victory in Karnataka was heard till Haryana. “The people of Haryana have made up their mind for change because in the last 9 years the BJP-JJP government has worked to disappoint every section,” he said as Congress workers stopped and welcomed MP Deepender Hooda at various places, all the way from Ambala to Yamuna Nagar.
“People sitting in the BJP-JJP government of Haryana are insulting every class in the arrogance of power. BJP-JJP has derailed Haryana from the track of development and made it a victim of corruption,” he said addressing the people.
“There was 40 % corruption in Karnataka, but it is difficult to estimate the percentage of corruption in Haryana. There is a double engine of corruption in Haryana because JJP has supported BJP in Haryana only on the basis of exemption of loot. The alliance of BJP-JJP was not on the pension of Rs 5100 but on the complete freedom to loot in Haryana,” he said.
“The Chief Minister himself said that there was no talk of giving pension of Rs 5100 to the elderly. The time has come for the departure of the BJP-JJP government of Haryana which is standing on the foundation of lies, loot and division,” he said.
Hooda said that Haryana, which was considered number 1 in the welfare schemes for the poor in development, has lagged behind in development and reached the 19th position and reached number 1 in unemployment. “More than 2 lakh government posts are lying vacant and the recruitment that came out fell victim to the scam. Confirmed recruitments were converted into temporary jobs through Skill Employment Corporation. The people of the state are considering themselves cheated. While Ch. Bhupinder Singh Hooda remained the Chief Minister for 10 years but did not make any promise which was not fulfilled,” he said and added that the people of Haryana have taken a decision to get rid of the BJP-JJP government.
Deepender Hooda reiterated the resolve to bring people together by connecting every brother of Haryana with the thread of love and break the pride of BJP, connect farmers with MSP guarantee, connect youth with employment.
He said the Congress would connect the employees with the old pension scheme and the elderly with the highest old age pension of Rs 6000 in the country, connect poor families with free plots of 100-100 yards and 2 room houses. Connect every family with 300 units of free electricity, connect sportspersons with the policy of getting medals, get positions, connect every housewife with a domestic gas cylinder for Rs 500, increase the income limit of OBC class from 6 lakhs to 10 lakhs, connect every village and city of the state to development, like in the times of the previous Hooda government.
