Hindi Seva Samman to Shri Satish Singh

Vishwa Hindi Academy, Mumbai has conferred the Hindi Seva Samman for the year 2024 to Shri Satish Singh. This award has been given to Shri Singh for his continuous writing in Hindi language on tough subjects like Banking and Economics. The 30th Hindi Seva Samman ceremony was organized on Hindi Day 14 September at ISKCON Auditorium, Juhu, Mumbai West, in which famous screenwriter Shri Kamlesh Pandey, journalists Shri Suresh Sharma and Shri Ajit Rai, film lyricists Shri Shekhar Astitva and Shri Aas Karan Atal, comedian and actor Shri Uday Dahiya etc. were present. Shri Singh received this award from the hands of famous screenwriter Raj Shandilya and comedy king Shri Sunil Paul.

Mr. Singh is a banker, poet-storyteller and senior columnist. He is a postgraduate in Hindi literature, Mass Communication and MBA (Finance). He also has a diploma in Hindi Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. Mr. Singh has been writing freelance on Banking and Economic topics for the last 15 years. He has also been actively engaged in mainstream journalism for 5 years.

Mr Singh has published more than 2500 articles, more than 500 poems and more than 5 dozen stories. A music album of Mr Singh “Piya O Re Piya” was released in December 2021. He has also published 3 books and has been bestowed more than a dozen awards.

Mr. Singh originally hails from Patna, Bihar and is presently posted as Assistant General Manager, Learning & Development at the Local Head Office of Ahmedabad Circle, State Bank of India.
