Appointment of Udai Bhan four times winner in Vidhan Sabha polls from Hodal constituency in Palwal district as president Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) also quite near and dear to former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda who has become a challenge for ruling BJP government in Haryana in coming 2024 Vidhan Sabha as well as Lok Sabha polls. It cannot be denied that all political parties in Haryana were wiped out from the state in 2014 polls due to Modi wave in the country.
Information reveals, both newly appointed HPCC president as well as former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda jointly has now assured Congress high command to bring back lost reputation as well as lost power in the state in coming 2024 polls. He blame absence of a powerful organisation and rift between senior Congress leaders in the state were prime reasons for party’s downfall in the Haryana and every effort will be made to unite all party leaders once again as well as bring back all those leaders said good-bye to Congress prior to coming 2024 polls.
Talking to media persons, Hooda accused HPCC president Shelja responsible for Congress in the state failed to form government in the state in 2019 polls when Congress was able to win majority of seats in Vidhan Sabha polls when BJP in-spite of ruling in the state making tall claims for victory over nearly 75 to 80 out of total number of 90 Vidhan Sabha seats was able to form government in the state having alliance with newly born Janhit Janta Party (JJP). Hooda said, Congress would have been in power in the state today in case right selection of candidates to contest 2019 polls would have been made by HPCC president instead of dividing senior party leaders in groups and refusing tickets to influential, winner candidates to contest poll .
