Hooda accuses Haryana government spreading unemployment due to privatization policy

Addressing media persons, former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda leader of opposition in Haryana Vidhan Sabha accused ruling BJP-JJP government in the state for spreading unemployment in Haryana due to privatization policy, Pointing at large number of scams in the state in recent past sometime including paddy scam, registration of properties scam and liquor scam reported in the state during current year Hooda said that ruling government has failed to control such corrupt practices in government departments. He further said, the decisions about handing over important profit giving departments like transport, electricity and now tourism to private players would prove harmful for people as well as the state. Hooda said that at the time when people in the state are facing severe unemployment due to corona epidemic outbreak ruling government is snatching jobs from them instead of providing relief and sources of employment opportunities, which would only give rise to crimes in the state as such today Haryana state has become No. 1 in crimes as well as unemployment.

In reply to media question as regarding implementation of Right to Recall Bill beinf introduced in the state, former Chief Minister said that the same should be implemented  on MPs and MLAs prior to Sarpanch in villages. He was of opinion that in case Right to Recall Bill implemented on Sarpanch only would leave adverse effect over relationships among people residing in thevillages and in case ruling government is in favour to introduce this bill should first implement the same on MLAs.

Hooda strongly condemned ruling government’s recent decision to privatize tourism department once known as backbone of the state after roadways and power supply departments. As regard termination of 1983 PTIs in the state, Hooda repeated that Congress would produce Private Member Bill in Vidhan Sabha to save them from becoming unemployed.  He said, Congress government when in power in the state provided jobs to large number of people using legislative powers and in case need arises will certainly try to save them becoming unemployed. Hooda said that three notifications released by the government in agriculture sector, too, is anti-farmers.  Among those present at the occasion were Bharat Bhushan Batra MLA, Shakuntala Khatak MLA, Krishan Murthy Hooda former minister and Subhash Batra former minister.

When questioned by a media person about Congress likely to have contest with which political party in coming Baroda bi-polls in the state, Hooda simply replied that it would be a contest between public and failures of ruling government in which Congress is sure to win the race. When another media person raised a question what about INLD in these elections, Hooda smilingly compared INLD with an cooked vegetable unfit to take.
