Hooda assured developments in every sector & set up IMT in Ambala after coming to power in Haryana

Ambala: Former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda Sunday while addressing a large gathering  during a rally assured that Congress is going on to wipe out ruling BJP government in Haryana during coming Vidhan sabha polls. He assured to set up an Industrial Model Township (IMT) in Ambala soon after it comes to power. He said that even during the last Congress government in Haryana, the work on the township had begun but was held up due to opposition by rival party leaders.

Hooda said that during his tenure as chief minister a decade ago, the Congress government had given a 100 square yard plot each to seven lakh poor families, but as soon as the BJP came to power, the allotment was stopped. He said, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is now trying to mislead the poor families by claiming the BJP gave people free plots. Hooda, currently the Leader of Opposition in Haryana Assembly, also claimed that Congress will come to power with full majority in the coming assembly elections after about three months.

Disclosing Congress manifesto after coming to power Hooda announced free treatment up to Rs 25 lakh to the people of the state, when Congress government is formed, said Congress had implemented this scheme when it was in power in Rajasthan, it will be implemented in Haryana too. He assured to start work on Dadupur-Nalwi river which was disconntinued by the ruling government. Congress government after coming to power in Haryana will provide government jobs to nearly two lakh youths lying vacant, provide 300 units electricity free of cost, supply LPG cylinder at the rate of Rs 500 each, Rs 6000 old-age pension to senior citizens every month, implement old pension scheme immediately after coming to power.   

Hooda said the party’s performance in the recently held Lok Sabha elections in Haryana indicates its victory is sure in the coming Vidhan Sabha election. He urged the party workers, not sit at home for the next three months and stay among the people to increase vote bank in favour of Congress. Attacking the BJP, Hooda said, in past 10 years, BJP has given nothing to the people except fear, corruption, crime, drugs, unemployment and drugs addiction to youths and inflation. This government has even stopped the projects taken up during the Congress tenure, whereas large number of projects started in the state during BJP rule are lying hanging incomplete causing heavy revenue loss to government. He blamed that Haryana state government is burdened  under heavy debts  for amount worth Rs 4,51,800 crore.

Hooda said that people in the state will take revenge from ruling BJP government for the death of 750 farmers, excesses on female wrestlers when they were peacefully protesting at Jantar-Mantar New Delhi the way they were mercilessly dragged, large scale corruption in government offices, increasing crimes against females, large scale drugs and liquor smuggling in the state. Hooda said that people of Haryana are still remmembering welfare activities when Congress was ruling in the state since BJP government rule for about 10 years in the state witnessed countless scams, few of these include liquor scam, registration scam, recruitments scam, rice scam, paper-leak scam and Amrit Yozna scam. When asked about the defection of MLA Kiran Choudhry and her ex-MP daughter Shruti Choudhry to the BJP, Hooda said their leaving the party will not make any difference.
