Former Haryana chief minister and leader of opposition in Haryana Vidhan Sabha Bhupinder Singh Hooda addressing media said that ruling government in the state is responsible for increase in debts of value worth over Rs 4 lakh crore and 37.4% unemployment in the state demanding ruling government to submit white paper on both issues, especially on financial condition of the state. Hooda said, the state government has loans worth Rs 3.25 lakh crore and other liabilities worth Rs 1.22 lakh crore and have come to a situation where the government is taking loans even to pay salaries to the employees, and most of times much delaying in disbursing salaries to the employees. He accused ruling BJP in alliance with JJP government pushed Haryana into the debt trap blaming that during winter Vidhan sabha session the ruling state government did not allowed discussion on various important issues.
Hooda said that rising prices of all essential commodities have gone higher by three times, debt have increased four times, crime in the state have increased five times and corruption have witness six times increase in past eight years Manohar government rule in Haryana state blaming that ruling government is not a double engine (BJP & JJP) but a double mouth government. At the same time, Hooda demanded immediate resignation of former Haryana Sports Minister Sandeep Singh against whom a case allegedly sexually attack on a lady coach has been registered by Chandigarh police and it is not possible for the police to investigate the case fairly until alleged accuse submits resignation to Vidhan Sabha.
Hooda said that recent ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ organized by Congress for eight days was warmly welcomed by the people in the state in all seven districts it passed through in which the farmers told that government taking no decision on several important issues like cases filed against the farmers during the farmers agitation, refusing to accept their demand for hike in sugarcane price and guaranteed MSP of their crops. Hooda said, this Yatra got tremendous support from people in Haryana state. He said, situation in Haryana state has become worst in past eight years indicating that from Nuh to Ambala the condition of roads except national highway was seen extremely poor, the condition of IMTs in the state developed by Congress when in power has become miserable, ruling government has failed to control schools, colleges, ITIs and hospital in the states which were developed in the state by the Congress government,
Hooda said, people from every sector including youths, women, farmers, laborers, employees, ex-servicemen, traders, small scale industry owners, MANERGA workers while having interaction with Rahul Gandhai expressed un-satisfaction from present ruling government in the state. Meanwhile, BJP convener Praveen Atray refusing allegations by former Chief Minister Hooda said that the Congress policies always remained anti-developmental while in power. He said that economic growth of Haryana state was recorded as nearly Rs 4 lakh crore up to 2014 which witnessed increase to Rs 9 lakh crore during eight years Manohar government rule in the state. He further disclosed that during year 2014 Haryana’s budget was nearly Rs 34,000 crore which is more than Rs 1,77,000 crore at present.
