Adampur/Chandigarh: Haryana girl made several revelations in front of media, accusing All India Bishnoi Maha Sabha National President Devender Budia a resident of Jodhpur in Rajasthan allegedly making serious allegations against him raping her at Chandigarh after drinking alcohol and taking drugs on the pretext of sending her abroad. Not only this, rape victim female accused Budia under the influence of alcohol and drugs made number of scratches on his body while raping her as shown to the media persons scratches and bit her badly on her body and said Devinder threatened her that if she tells anything to anyone, nothing will happen because he has high level connections at the top. He threatened that if she says anything, he will get her trapped in a false case, prostitution and put her in jail. On the complaint of the victim, the Adampur police station has registered a case against Budia against Devendra Budia under Sections 342 (wrongful confinement), 354 (assault of criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 354-D (stalking), 376 (2)(N) (repeated rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the police, the victim said in the complaint that she wanted to go to Australia. In the year 2023, her father took her to Adampur to Devendra Budia, President of All India Bishnoi Mahasabha. He asked Budia for help to send his daughter abroad, when Budia said that to send her to Australia, she will have to do a course in Chandigarh and he will arrange for its expenses himself.
According to complainant, Devendra Budia took the victim to a famous hotel in Chandigarh and during night raped her after forcibly offering drinks, and also made an obscene video of the victim threatening to kill her if she told anyone about this. However, Budia got her admitted in an academy located in Sector-34, Chandigarh, where she got 5 bands in the IELTS exam, while 6 bands were required. After this, Budhiya said that he would get this course done in his relative’s institute in Jaipur. In June 2024, the victim was called to a flat in Civil Lines area in Jaipur, where she was raped there by Budia many times. The victim told in the complaint that Devendra Budia also lured her to make her a film heroine telling her that he knew several Bollywood producers as well as film star Salman Khan to arrange her entry also in ‘Big Boss’.
According to information, the Hisar police has registered a case of rape against the former national president of the All-India Bishnoi Sabha on the complaint of 20-year-old female in the Adampur police station which has started investigation. She alleged that she wanted to go to Australia when her father took her to Budhia in February 2024, who assured help and called her to Chandigarh and Jaipur on the pretext of an IELTS course and alleged in complaint that Budia allegedly intoxicated her and raped raped her several times in Chandigarh and Jaipur behaving like a animal under the influence of liquor and drugs she was threatened to kill the entire family and would frame her in a prostitution case as and when she protested against his excessive sexual behavior. The victim said in November, 2024 she came back to Adampur but Budia kept sexually harassing her by calling and threatening her. Due to this, she started getting upset and asked him not to call but he did not listen. After this, she told everything to her mother and got the case registered against him.
