IIMCAA Maharashtra chapter’s Annual Function held in Mumbai

Mumbai : Maharashtra Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association (IIMCAA) organized its annual meet, Connections Mumbai 2024, at the Royal Bombay Yacht Club in which the noted film director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, IIMC alumni from 1982–83 batch, was honoured with the Alumni of the Year Award. Over 100 alumni and students of the Indian Institute of Mass Communications participated in the meet.

Chapter President Yashmi Yadav presided over the event, which was also addressed by Vice President Braj Kishore, General Secretary Krishna Pophale, Former General Secretary Neeraj Bajpai, Brajesh Mishra, IIMCAA Central Treasurer Animesh Biswas and Central Secretary Sneha Bhattacharjee. At the function, Satish Singh, Banker & Senior Columnist, Ratnesh, Finance Ministry, and Vikas Mishra, Senior Journalist, all from 1994-95 batch, HJ were also present.

Former student Chandan Roy, who has made a mark with his acting in the web series Panchayat, was also honoured at the meet. Pragya Barthwal and Neeraj Bajpai, who graduated from the institute 25 years ago, were honoured with the Silver Jubilee Alumni Batch felicitation. This year the Connections was started on 25th February at the Delhi headquarters of IIMC, under the aegis of which the annual alumni meet of the institute will be organized in many cities across the country and abroad.
