Illegal properties of Gangsters demolished in Karnal

Karnal: CM City Karnal in Haryana state has witnessed cases of gangsters in recent past few days raising a question over security of residents in the area.  On a information that a member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang Mukesh alias Mintu a resident of village Jamban  under Nigdu police station in Karnal district wanted in large number of criminal cases having award declared by Punjab police for his arrest. When Mukesh was suspected planning a criminal activity carrying arms near Awardhan river at village Shekhpura in Karnal district, the team of Special Task Force (STF) from Ambala led by Inspector Deepender reached at the spot when Mukesh started firing at police team but he was overpowered from all sides and brought to Ambala during late night. During search police recovered four imported pistols and 10 live bullets from his possession. Muksh was produced before duty magistrate at Ambala on Sunday and remanded to police custody for eight days when police will try to arrest his other accomplishes.

During preliminary investigation, Mukesh admitted working for gangster Harvinder Singh alias Rinda presently sitting in Pakistan who was involved in large number of criminal cases including murder, murder attempts, ransom demand, supply of illegal arms and explosive material to hard core criminals, finally managed to flee to Pakistan avoiding arrest by Punjab police and joined hands with ISI agency in Pakistan and started supplying arms and explosive material to criminals in India to spread terrorism through a network of anti-social elements supplying. Mukesh alias Mintu admitted that he was collecting arms and explosive material through drones at the Indo-Pak border areas in Punjab and further carrying it to safer places including in adjoining Haryana state since he was well familiar with the area being originally hailing from Karnal district. During interrogation Mukesh admitted that he was having close links with Babbar Khalsa group as well as Kamalpur gangster group and told he was being funded by the gangster groups in Pakistan and Lakhbir Singh Landa sitting in Canada to whom he was offering his services. Mukesh admitted that he used to get plenty of heroine drug stocks from criminals in Pakistan and further supplying in Punjab, Haryana and other states through a network.

Meanwhile, Karnal police came into action after receipt of threatens by gangster Diler Kotia of Babiha gang involved in large number of criminal cases registered against him in Punjab and Haryana threatening Haryana government, Haryana police and District Town Planner Karnal to be prepared to face dire consequences   due to demolishing his family residential house at Asandh in Karnal district recently on September 29 with bulldozers where his family and younger brother Tejinder was sliving. A case has been registered with Civil Lines police station Karnal against Diler on the complaint of SP Karnal presently absconding since he was wanted by Punjab police allegedly involved in large number of criminal cases including murder, attempt to murder and ransom demand registered against him.

According to Roshan Lal Poonia SP Karnal, Diler had sprinkled bullet shots to kill doctor of Meenakshi Hospital at Asandh when his ransom demand for amount worth crores of rupees was not fulfilled by the doctor on July 3, 2022 and a case was registered against him when he managed to flee and went underground. In the threatening letter, Diler warned district civil and police administration as well as state government to be prepared for the consequences for demolishing his house constructed about three decades ago raising a question how it was identified illegal by the government all of sudden after a long period and government should now be prepared to face consequences. A notice was affixed outside the building to demolish the same, when no action was taken by Diler’s family district & police administration removed household luggage outside the building and demolished building under ‘Operation Bulldozer’ scheme launched by the state government against gangsters, drug smugglers and hard core criminals on September 29, 2022.
