Amritsar: Panther Division celebrated the momentous occasion of Vijay Diwas today-marking India’s victory over Pakistan in 1971 India Pakistan war. This historic day, observed annually on December 16, commemorates the creation of Bangladesh and the decisive military victory led by the Indian Armed Forces. On this special occasion, the celebrations were conducted with a stunning display of military equipment and felicitation of the Veer Naris showcasing the Nation’s strength and unity.
The highlight of the day was an impressive weapon and equipment display as part of “Know Your Army Mela”, where military hardware, including Armour tanks, Artillery guns and other New Generation Weapons under induction were displayed to the common public. This display gave citizens, especially the younger generation, an opportunity to witness firsthand the military technology that has played a significant part and continues to hold a pivotal role in Indian Army’s success. The weapon display offered a chance to explore the legacy of India’s defense capabilities and the cutting edge technology that continues to safeguard the Nation’s security.
