Industrial Manufacturing Cluster built near Hisar airport inaugurated by PM Modi with provide employment to 10000 people

Hisar: Industrial Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) will be set up on 3000 acres near Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar in Haryana inaugurated by Prime Minister Narender Modi. The project will cost around Rs 4680 crore and will be developed by the Haryana government and National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC). The development of this IMC is expected to attract investment of about Rs 32000 crore, besides creating more than 10000 employment opportunities. Information reveals, townships will be built in seven states under the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor. Many officials including Civil Aviation Minister Vipul Goyal were present on the occasion. After the start of flights from Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar, efforts have now begun to implement the plan to set up an Industrial Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) on three thousand acres near the airport with project cost around Rs 4680 crore developed by the state government and National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC). All types of basic and modern facilities including roads, water treatment plants will be available in IMC.

The outline of the project was discussed in detail in a high-level meeting held at CHandigarh on Tuesday in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and Civil Aviation Minister Vipul Goyal. Under the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor, industrial townships will be set up in a total of six cities in seven states, in which IMC to be set up in Hisar is the biggest project to be developed in two phases with an investment of about 32 thousand crore rupees. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed between NICDC and the Haryana Government as disclosed during the meeting in which Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary Arun Kumar Gupta and Additional Principal Secretary Dr. Saket Kumar, Principal Secretary of Civil Aviation Department Shyamal Mishra and NICDC CEO Rajat Saini were present.
