Dr Ajay Chauata after holding the charge of National President of Jan-nayak Janta Party (JJP) launched by his son Dushyant Chautala also Deputy Chief Minister Haryana after left INLD, during his recent short visit to Ambala while talking to The Financial World expressed desire to take his party to heights, besides expanding its political network in adjoining states Punjab, U.P, Rajasthan and Delhi. When questioned Ajay Chautala about future plans of his party, he said, appointments for presidents in U.P and Delhi has already been finalized, to strengthen party’s network at root level, followed by appointments of presidents for the states of Punjab and Rajathan are under process to enable JJP to have national level party status.
When questioned that large number of of MLAs from JJP are unhappy over neglect in the , party, refusing allegations Ajay Chautala said these are baseless rumours spread by political parties in opposition including Congress and INLD when developments in the party came to halt due to COVID-19 spread across the state and now entire system returning on the track slowly. When pointed out at Ram Kumar Gautam MLA unhappy with the party, besides both Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Abhay Singh Chautala also claiming that large number of unsatisfied JJP MLAs are under their influence, Dr Chautala said, JJP is not worried over what Ram Kumar Gautam says but claims by Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Abhay Singh Chautala are completely baseless since all JJP MLAs are sincere to the party. He said, ups and down is second name of politics.
In reply to another question that the way Dushyant Chautala speaks of BJP language, it seems JJP will emerge into BJP very soon, Ajay Chautala quickly reacted over it saying while having alliance with BJP to form a government in Haryana state its duty of alliance partner to work jointly, promote publicity and broadcasting of policies and proposal of alliance party being a partner to form government in the state. Dr Chautala continued, JJP believes in promoting the policies of late Devi Lal ji denying JJP will not emerge into BJP. Ajay Chautala said when he was in INLD there were close political relationships between INLD and BJP assuring that relations between JJP and BJP would remain everlasting in future too.
When questioned about JJP’s strategy in coming Baroda bi-polls, Ajay Chautala replied that both parties will contest Baroda bi-polls jointly and support the contestant gets ticket either from BJP or JJP enabling to increase the strength of candidate contesting on this seat. When raised a question that both Congress and INLD are claiming victory on this seat, Ajay Chautala said that the contestants following the policies of late Devi Lal ji has always been a winner on this Vidhan Sabha seat in past years as such JJP contestant is sure to win this seat if given chance to contest on this seat. He raised a question over what Bhupinder Singh Hooda did for the people in this constituency when he was chief minister in the state for 10 years.
In another question to Ajay Chautala that INLD party workers accuse Dushyant Chautala as well as yourself responsible for division in Chautala family as well as INLD party, refusing allegation he said Ch. Om Parkash Chautala is not only my father but a brilliant political leaders in the state, but Dushyant as well as myself had not left INLD party willingly but expelled from the party by INLD supremo who was requested to reconsider his decision and within a short period Dushyant succeeded in launching not only his new party JJP but also his party won 10 seats in first Vidhan Sabha polls in the state and also became Deputy Chief Minister in the state having alliance with BJP. Ajay Chautala said, JJP has now no time to look at behind.
Dr Chautala admitted, though there are differences in political parties but the family is still united having no differences in personal relationship. He said, INLD was handed over to Abhay Chautala with strength of 20 MLAs now left with only one MLA at resent because JJP had decided not to contest for Elanabad Vidhan Sabha seat otherwise INLD would not have been able to get even a single seat in the state. When asked that according to senior Congress and INLD leaders JJP was able to get support of voters in few Vishan Sabha constituencies in Haryana where BJP was having weak vote bank and now getting shelter from BJP party to remain in power, but no one is sure about the duration of alliance between two, Ajay Chautala said that JJP joined hands with BJP to form government in the state for the welfare of people but the leaders of political parties in opposition should rest assure that the alliance between BJP and JJP will continue forever.
