International Nurses Day: The role of nurses is very important in health services – Anil Vij

Ambala : Haryana Home & Health Minister Anil Vij as chief guest congratulating all the nurses said that the role of nurses is very important in health services, because doctors treated the patients by diagnoses the disease, but the nurses take care of the patient and without that care, the patient is completely disappointed and frustrated.



He said that “I have seen that during Covid-19, people used to run away in fear but the nurses have taken care of the people at that time without caring for their lives. He said that in the time of Covid, the unknown enemy has attacked mankind, whose color, shape, size was not known. At that time, nurses did not heal the patients only with the spirit of service while you fought against that unknown enemy.

Vij said that mankind is the supreme creation of God but still some people get diseases from birth and some get diseases while in life.  He said that this God made man, if it continues to run properly, then it is fine, if there is some disturbance or some diseases or some problems in it, then life becomes a burden.  Nurses work day and night to lighten this burden. They do the work of curing the patient so that the patients can go back to their homes after recovering, he added.

Home & Health Minister said, is noteworthy that International Nurses Day is celebrated on the birthday of Florence Nightingale, also known as Lady with the Lamp, the founder of Modern Nursing, today the students of Philadelphia Mission Hospital, School of Nursing, and Nursing Staff Hospital Director of Ambala city under the leadership of Dr. Sunil Sadiq reached the residence of Health and Family Welfare Minister .Vij isaid, n Ambala and presented an emotional short play on the topic of usefulness of nurses. This play was praised by all the dignitaries present there.

On this occasion Dr. Shamim Sagar – Former Principal Christian Medical College of Nursing Ludhiana, Principal – Florence Nightingale Awardee Dr. Indira Daniel, School of Nursing Staff Kumari Poonam, Virginia Thomas, Dolly Johnson, Sukhbinder, Krishna Verma etc. were also present.
