The Counter-Intelligence Wing (CIK) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a major operation on Tuesday, conducting raids across several districts in the Kashmir Valley. The raids were part of an effort to dismantle a newly formed militant group believed to be an offshoot of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), officials said.

According to authorities, the raids took place in multiple districts, including Srinagar, Ganderbal, Bandipora, Kulgam, Budgam, Anantnag, and Pulwama. During the operation, a recruitment module associated with the new group was dismantled.
