New Delhi :In a very “Mamata Banerjee’s” mood today, “bhatija, like bua” stormed from Jantar Mantar to Krishi Bhawan. Country is remembering the young Mamta Banerjee when she was just a Congress Worker.

Abhishek Banerjee, All India General Secretary of Trinamool, directly threatened the NarendraModi government from Jantar Mantra stage. He said, “don’t touch our job card holders from Bangla, even if there is a scratch on them, then remember that many representatives of the central government, many leaders and workers of BJP have to stay in Bengal! I will answer in the language that BJP understands”.

The Delhi Police, under the control of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, turned the area from JantarMantar to KrishiBhavan into a virtual fortress to deal with Trinamool leaders and activists from Bengal. The administration made almost war-time preparations to prevent the huge crowd, a repeat of the way the crowd of Trinamool became disorderly at Rajghat. There was ample food and drink provided by the police administration who were deployed at dharna place. Around two kilometers of the road outside it, there was a crowd of Trinamool leaders and workers from Bengal and people who were complaining about not getting money for 100 days of work.

Abhishek gave a speech at around 5:30 pm. He raised slogans with the crowd in the style of Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee, his Aunty. The entire Jantar Mantra echoed his slogan “ZamindarHathaoDeshBachao”. The Delhi Police were apparently ‘scared’ then. He kept chanting, “Pull the ropeand hit it” which in bangla, “doridhoremaarotaan” to which the crowd responded with “Raja hobe khan khan”. Abhishek warned, “The Modi government tried a lot, but could not stop this public meeting today”. Within the next two months, we will bring two lakh people from Bengal and hold another meeting under the leadership of our leader Mamata Banerjee. Today the movement did not end but began.” Then Abhishek said, “I don’t trust this government. You will not walk with us to the KrishiBhawan procession.” Tell yourselves, did we bring you paying money?” The unanimous answer, “No.”Abhishek said, “Trinamool did not bring people. It is the people who have brought Trinamool here to fight for their demands”.
