Meanwhile, MP Charanjit Singh Channi also raised the issue of justice to Sidhu Moosewala and Amritpal Singh in the Parliament. Charanjit Singh Channi demanded the release of Amritpal Singh, saying, 'The people of Punjab have elected him as their leader and sent him to Parliament but he has been put in jail.

He said in the Lok Sabha that when I came back after winning the elections, the first thing I wanted to do was to pay obeisance at the statue of Ambedkar Saheb. When I went there, there was no statue there. The statue was removed from there and moved back. He said that but they should understand that the statue of Ambedkar Saheb can be moved back, not their thinking. He said that they cannot change the Constitution and the people have told him this.
Along with this, MP Channi said that the budget was presented on 22nd. I was very happy to come to the house wearing new clothes for the first time. He said that I thought of telling all the MPs in Punjab what Punjab got. But Punjab did not get anything. There was no fair distribution with Punjab. He said that this government does not look at the citizens of the country equally. Because the government is wearing political glasses.
