Ambala : Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini strongly condemned Kejriwal’s statement that ‘Haryana poisoning Yamuna’. He said, Kejriwal has a habit of levelling baseless allegations on others. While talking to media persons Saini rubbished Delhi AAP’s claim that the ruling BJP in Haryana state is ‘intentionally’ draining industrial waste into the Yamuna that supplies water to the national capital alleging that it is trying to kill people by mixing poison in the river. Saini also hit out at former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, saying that he is in the habit to level baseless allegations and blame others, saying that Kejriwal should apologise to the people of Delhi and Haryana or face legal action for his baseless allegations. The Haryana CM accused Kejriwal of failing to make proper arrangements for water distribution, which has forced Delhi residents to consume contaminated water.
Targeting Kejriwal for systematically diverting 28 highly polluted drains into the Yamuna river due to his poor management, Saini claimed that the people of Delhi would teach him a lesson in the upcoming Assembly polls. “Kejriwal has a habit of levelling baseless allegations on others and then running away,” and asked Kejriwal to send his chief secretary and officers to Haryana, specifically to Sonepat, from where Haryana supplies water to Delhi to inspect the quality of the water being provided to Delhi residents. Saini said, there is no shortage of water, it is the mismanagement of the Delhi government that has left residents without access to clean water.
