New Delhi : November 22, 2022: The Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson demanded on Tuesday that Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal should apologise to the nation and dismiss his jailed minister Satyendar Jain over fresh allegations related to viraled massage video.
While addressing to press conference, Gaurav Bhatia, spokesperson, BJP said that it is surprising that the person massaging Satyendar Jain is jailed under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, he is accused of raping a minor. How is the accused under POCSO giving massage to Satyendar Jain? He said that under the protection of Kejriwal, his own minister circumvents the law and meets with other accused and takes their services. This is just a protection massage which is being done to protect that accused.
The Aam Aadmi Party, which received flak over the videos, had asserted earlier that Jain was receiving physiotherapy in the jail, where he is in judicial custody for the past five months over money-laundering charges.
In a press conference, BJP spokesperson Bhatia added that if a prisoner gets the facilities of mineral water, TV and AC, then how is it wrong to raise questions on it. Kejriwal should apologize to the whole country because despite so many allegations against Satyendar Jain, he is keeping him as a minister. He said that if a massage is happening on the head, then it has no meaning with the feet. If there is any medical issue then medical facilities will be given as per the jail manual, but every facility is being given to them violating the law.
He further added that the Aam Aadmi Party which was founded by Kejriwal has today become an anarchic criminal party.
However, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had claimed that Jain was receiving physiotherapy following a spinal injury and accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of doing “cheap” politics on health issues by illegally leaking CCTV footage.
Reacting to Dy CM, Bhatia questioned that he has not told what satyendar Jain is doing with four people despite being a prisoner, he did ask where is his prisoner’s dress, you answer?
