Kolkata name joined with Ayodhya Ram Mandir, gifts as gold and silver will go to the mint

*Mint representatives have reached in Ayodhya

New Delhi  : More few days left, Ramlala will be enshrined in Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir. On that occasion, pilgrims from all over the country will gather in the temple premises who will donate precious gold and silver and other precious metals. Kolkata joined with Ayodhya to save those precious metals! Two representatives of Calcutta Mint are already reached there. Accountant of Mint, Sujoy Barua said, they have reached there for valuable offerings collection. They will take all the precious metals offered there i.e. gold, silver or platinum to Calcutta. The work will be done there under the supervision of the Government of India”. How it will be handed over to them, what will be the next step will be decided later, said Sujoybabu. Apart from them, officials have also reached from the headquarters in Delhi too. They are supposed to stay there for the next fifteen days.

It is known that all the metals will be melted and made into ingots. After that it will be handed over to the Reserve Bank. Later there will be a meeting between the central bank, the Modi government and members of the Ram Mandir Trust. After that a decision will be made regarding the next step. 

Meanwhile, before the officially opening ceremony on January 22, golden doors have been installed in Ram Mandir. According to trust sources, a total of 13 golden doors will be installed before the inauguration. By the time the construction of the temple is complete, 42 of the total 46 doors will be gold plated. The beauty of the doors will also impress the devotee tourists, claims the trust. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Ram Mandir on January 22. Along with politicians, well-known personalities from various fields will be present.
