Kurukshetra to be developed as cultural tourism hub having world wide identification

Kurukshetra: Addressing a poll rally at the religious, historic town Kurukshetra in Haryana, Prime Minister Narender Modi during his fifth visit in the town in past 10 years said that Kurukshetra will be developed as a cultural tourism hub by the government in the state having international identification for the tourists visiting the country. PM Modi said there are more than a dozen places in Haryana having attractions for the tourists from the country as well from abroad, which would be developed by the government as cultural tourism hubs in the near future.
Prime Minister said, holy religious town Kurukshetra is famous due to God Srikrishna associated Arjun in the ‘Rath’ during war between ‘Kaurav’ and ‘Pandav’ in ‘Mahabharat’ and large number of pilgrims from the country as well as abroad visit this historic and religious town taking holy bath in the ‘Sarovar’ surrounded by temples inside the town, which also have Sant Ravidas Smarak and famous gurudwara Chhati-Patshahi where Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji visited.
