But this surgery has to be done before the baby comes to earth. Such rare treatment is rare in the world. This problem should be solved between 19 to 25 weeks. If a thousand people are born in the world, only one of them will have this problem.

On the successful completion of the surgery, Dr. Mandeep Singh said that the treatment was performed by making a small incision on the uterus. This problem needs to be solved while the baby is still in the womb. For this we used synthetic patch. After the surgery, we close the uterus again by sending amniotic fluid into the cavity. The doctor said that the health of the mother and the baby is stable. The woman will give birth in August.

Meanwhile, there are only 14 centers in the world that conduct such surgeries. Couples from Asia and South America travel to Europe and North America for similar surgeries. This approach is very costly. The woman’s family members said, ‘In the 20-week scan, it was found that the back of the baby in the womb was not right. They advised that it would be better to remove the pregnancy. But we did not agree to that. We wanted to save the child that God had given us. We came to know through the doctors that there is a process called spina bifida as a part of this’, he said.
