Following Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh, the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has also started a bulldozer campaign in Mewat area in the state after the recent incidents of riots at Nuh in Mewat. He said that all losses caused during recent riots will be recovered from those involved in these riots and a large number of them have already been identified by the state vigilance department. The Government in the state has already registered 102 FIRs, arrested 202 persons, nearly 170 suspected persons are in police custody for investigation likely to identify another eight accused actively involved in robberies and destroying government as well as private properties, including burning and damaging vehicles belonging to the public and looting commercial establishments. Khattar told that as many as six persons including two Home Guards have been reported lost lives in such incidents and the state government has already given an amount worth Rs 57 lakh towards compensation to the family of each lost life, besides suitable financial compensation will be given to the families of other four victims soon.
The Chief Minister said that Internet services in the area waere discontinued, three hours relief in curfew in the area has been allowed. He said, 30 companies from the state and 20 companies from government in the centre have been deployed in the affected areas to provide security to the residents and a decision has been taken to deploy a company permanently in Mewat area so that such types of incidents are not repeated in future. Information also reveals that according to a U-tuber internet media with location shown from Alwar in Rajasthan there is involvement of Pakistan ISI in present riots in Mewat area and the secret agencies are working on it along with Haryana DGP P.K. Aggarwal and CID chief in the state Alok Kumar Mittal to control the situation and maintain peace in the area. CM said that para-military forces are keeping strict vigil at all ‘Idgah’ and mosques in Mewat area. Information also reveals that as many as 21 accused involved in the incident have been identified, whereas investigation is going on from 170 arrested persons.
However, Prashant Panwar Deputy Commissioner Nuh and SP Narinder Singh told that the situation is under control at present and most of the shops lying closed due to riots since past several days in affeceted areas have also now lifted up their shutters under tight police security. Most of the people said that riots spread after the release of Monu Manesar video at Nuh. Information also reveals that few families from Bangladesh entered in the country as well as ‘Rohingya’ intruders illegally staying in Mewat area residing in ‘Jhuggis’ are responsible for spreading riots and robbing shops and residential houses which have now been demolished with bulldozers. Leader of Congress legislator Aftab Ahmad said that efforts were made to control spreading violence, but they failed to do so.
According to Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij, the incident seems to be well pre-planned for which a thorough investigation has been ordered. He said, Cyber crime cheats mushrooming in Mewat area, too are suspected involved in this incident and spreading news. He said, buildings from where bullets were fired and stones were thrown are being demolished with bulldozers and this campaign will continue in future also. Chief Minister Khattar said that those who suffered loss upto 5 lakh will be financially compensated for 80% loss suffered by them. Whereas, those suffered loss between between 5 to 10 lakh will get 70% compensation, those suffered loss between 11 to 20 lakh will get 60% compensation, for loss between 21 to 50 lakh the suffered will get 40% compensation, in case of loss between Rs 51 lakh to a crore government will compensate the sufferers with 30% compensation and in case loss occurred between 1 to 1.5 crore the sufferers will get 20% compensation.
