Mastermind of racket sold over 500 cars with fake RC arrested

The mastermind of racket  Sunil Chitkara a resident of Subhash Nagar Rohtak a former scooter mechanic was arrested by Sirsa police and remanded to police custody for five days. During remand, he admitted sold more than 500 vehicles on the basis of fake registration certificates after changing chasis number of the vehicles. Police team comprising of Kuldeep Beniwal DSP Dabwali and CIA Inspector Naresh Kumar on a information of three vehicles having fake registration certificates on January 14, 2021 started investigation after registering a case and reached to prime accuse Sunil.

During police remand Sunil admitted that he used to purchase cars financed by the banks through on-line auction from Maharashtra, Karnatka and West Bengal, change chasis number of the vehicles, prepare fake bank certificate and report of motor vehicle inspector and get prepared its registration certificate at SDM office Yamunanagar with the help of an employee Rajinder working in the office and Amit Kumar an employee of Saral Kandra Jagadhari. Thus saving amount of transfer fee. Kuldeep Beniwal DSP told that police has already recovered 17 vehicles and trying for the arrest of Sunil’s accomplish Sumit Kumar resident of Gurugram
