New Delhi : “Prime Minister Narendra Modi should not have inaugurated the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. That is why the people of Ayodhya gave him the right answer. Those who fought with me are finished”, Puri’s Shankaracharya Nishchalananda Saraswati made such explosive comments when he visited to give a lecture in Bolpur, West Bengal on Wednesday. He also accused the same with the Prime Minister and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Shankaracharya of Puri reached Bolpur for three days from Wednesday to Friday to attend a religious ceremony. He has various programs including speeches, initiations, pujas and question and answer sessions with the devotees there.
It is to be noted that Puri Shankaracharya was invited during the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. But he did not attend the ceremony saying that the temple was not being inaugurated according to the proper rules. Shankaracharya made an explosive comment when he was asked about Ram Mandir and BJP’s defeat. He said, if the impact of Ram Mandir inauguration was good, then BJP would have won there. But the people of Ayodhya responded by defeating the BJP’S candidate. Democracy does not exist if secular rituals are not followed. If the Prime Minister was a Brahmin, he should not have inaugurated the Ram Mandir because he is a politician. The people of Ayodhya have made it clear to the BJP that they do not agree with Modi. On this day, he also said that the BJP thought that the Ram Mandir would be removed when the Congress rule came. In this fear, the temple was inaugurated in a hurry. He said that at first Modi considered Congress weak, now after elections he will not do so. Jyoti Bose also fought with me in West Bengal and party is finished here. He mentioned that Lalu Prasad Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav are also fought with me and now they all are finished. Modiji should not clash with me. Does ever punching kills the sky? We are in that place. Yogi Adityanath was touring a scaremonger as Shankaracharya to belittle me, showed down me. But remember, whoever fights with me will be crushed, finished.
