MSME in Haryana to get business through E-commerce platform

During Micro, Small, Medium Enterprise (MSME) Conclave webnar held in the state, Deputy Chief Minister Haryana Dushyant Chautala also MSME in Haryana to get business through E-commerce platform

holding the charge of industry and labour department in the state said that since past about a year state government is making efforts to provide global identification through E-commerce platform to products manufactured by MSME in the state and finalized agreement with E-commerce companies including Flip-kart, Amazon, Emway, Power-to-SME and Trade India.com in past one year. Chautala said, with the help of on-line platform the products manufactured by these small industrial units will be available in national and international markets.

Large number of owners of MSME units in Haryana state as well as Rajnish Kumar senior executives Flip-kart Group and Dr S.P. Sharma of PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry also spoke at his occasion on challenges to increase business through E-commerce and give identification to products manufactured by MSMEin domestic as well as international markets. While addressing Chautala said, state government Haryana introducing several welfare schemes for MSME units and in past about one year has given global structure to more than 200 firms in the state joining them with export houses through large firm enabling them guaranteed  timely payment with assurance  not to be involved in bank credit defaults, besides providing training in shipping and packaging to these small scale manufacturing units and also providing employment opportunities to youths in the state.

Dushyant  Chautala said, during COVID-19 outbreak in the state efforts were made that units manufacturing essential commodity products and medicines were not closed during lock down declared by the government and export sale also continued during epidemic outbreak. He said, industry clusters are being set up in every district across the state to cover 140 blocks under ‘One Block One Product’ scheme launched in the state sometime ago aiming to boost small scale industry in the state. Chautala said, Haryana Industry & Employment Policy -2020 was constituted to set up new industrial units in the state and create sources of employment. He further added, state government is trying for hundred percent growth in export and invite investment in the state which will also bring benefit to small scale industry, moreover hundred percent increase in budget has been approved for MSME sector by the state government. He said, 90% subsidy is being provided to set up mini clusters having investment up to Rs two crore in every district, besides allotment of Panchayat land on lease to entrepreneurs willing to set up new industry in rural areas, Chautala said.
