Nayab’s Task Force to focus on crimes, increase in exports and investment in Haryana

Chandigarh: CM Nayab Saini has reached the heights of popularity in the past less than a year’s tenure taking many important decisions whereas the prime political party in opposition Congress has no answer to these decisions. Saini  in his past one year tenure when he became the Chief Minister of the state for the first time on March 12 last year, and the top leadership of the BJP entrusted him with the important responsibility of the post of Chief Minister of Haryana in place of Manohar Lal. In his short tenure, Nayab Saini lived up to the expectations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Manohar Lal.has increased his popularity and he has left his mark with many decisions like jobs for youths and cheap gas for women and many more announced while on chair in the state. Impressed by the working style of CM Nayab, Congress MLAs also shared the stage with him many times. Information reveals, more than one and a half dozen important decisions of BJP’s Sankalp Patra gave it a big identity in the state.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini ‘s one year as Chief Minister has been exceptional. The BJP leadership expressed confidence in him and fought the state assembly elections in October last year under his leadership as result, the BJP came to power for the third time and Naib Singh Saini became the Chief Minister of the state for the second time. Sources reveal, during his one year tenure, Naib Saini took more than 18 such decisions, which not only gave him a stronghold in the state, but also established him as a popular Chief Minister among the top leadership of the party as well as BJP workers. In past one year, Naib Saini opened the doors of CM House not only for media persons, but also for the common people and workers. He organised conferences of people of every caste and class in CM House and while living among the people, he talked to them in their language with a sense of belonging. Impressed by Naib Saini’s working style, the opposition MLAs of Congress have not refrained from sharing the stage with him several times. Before taking oath as Chief Minister for the second time, he provided jobs to 25,000 youths whose joining was stopped by Congress citing code of conduct during the assembly elections.

In the past one year, Nayab Saini made several decisions for those suffering from health disorders offering free dialysis for kidney patients in all district hospitals and medical colleges. Monthly pension of three thousand rupees to hemophilia and thalassemia patients, offering the martyrdom amount of army and paramilitary forces personnel Rs 1 crore, employees’ insurance and disability insurance amount increased to Rs 50 lakh, besides arrangements for visit to Shri Ramlala in Ayodhya under Chief Minister’s Tirtha Yatra Yojana, free bath in Prayagraj’s ‘Maha Kumbh’ for elderly people along with visit to ‘Mata Vaishno Devi’ and ‘Shirdi Sai Temple’. Resolved discrepancies in property ID and family identity card in all municipal bodies, providing ownership rights to people occupying houses up to 500 square yards built on panchayat land in rural areas for more than 20 years, reservation for backward class B in Panchayats and Urban Bodies, gratuity of employees increased from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh, commission of agents increased from Rs. 46 to Rs. 55 per quintal, grant of about Rs 150 crore given to the state’s Gaushalas, allotment of 100-100 yard plots to the poor people of the state.

Presenting on crime ground in Haryana state during present assembly session, Saini said kidnapping and robbery cases have increased in the state, CM Saini presented detailed crime report in the assembly session going on at present. According to the report, kidnapping and robbery cases have increased in Haryana. He said that the task force had arrested 1957 miscreants last year, claiming that zero tolerance is being implemented to prevent crime. A special task force has been formed which have tabled the crime report from 2019 to December 2024 in the House, and according to the report the cases of murder, rape and gang rape have declined in the state last year, though cases of kidnapping and robbery have increased. Chief Minister Nayab Saini gave this answer to the question of MLA of political parties in opposition. When questions were raised on the task force, the CM said that the task force had arrested 1957 miscreants last year, which included 542 rewarded most wanted and 256 gangsters. According to the report placed in the House by the CM, a total of 6,338 murder cases were registered in the state from 2019 to December 2024, out of these, the police was successful in solving 6,0 36 cases and 12,966 people were arrested and in 4,0 35 cases as per the police filed charge sheets in the courts.

Information revealed in the house, as compared to previous years, there has been a decline in murder cases in 2024. There has also been a decline in rape cases identified as 1388 reported in 2024. According to the report submitted in the house, 10,262 cases of rape were registered in five years, of these 9,894 cases have been solved by the police. in which 6,861 accused have been arrested, whereas charge sheets have been filed in 5,304 cases. According to crime report, a total of 113 cases of gang rape were registered in Haryana in 2024. There was a decline in these as compared to 2023 and the previous years. As per the report 141 cases of gang rape were registered in 2023, 182 in 2022, 196 in 2021, 186 in 2020 and 196 in 2019. According to the submitted report, a total of 1,0 14 cases of gang rape were registered in past five years and Police was successful in solving 971 (97.75) per cent cases in which police arrested 1,0 75 accused and charge sheets were filed in 394 cases. According to the , relief in crime against women and scheduled castes declined. In the last five years, a total of 68,0 30 cases of crime against women were reported, out of which the number of cases against scheduled castes was 7, 779 which included 9, 488 cases of crime against women and 1,0 49 cases of crime against scheduled castes registered in 2024.
